Hi larry83, thanks for your information. Do you apply for FSU as a Ms or Phd? Did they mention the funding or not? Ohio State is supposed to have result for me this week when I asked them last week, but still no news. Florida state asked me to wait for my Ph.d result until next week.

Hi, When did you get the news of Florida State? Did they send you the notice by email or mail? I applied the Florida State as well, still no response of my application.

According to the email from the Graduate Assistant, Ohio State is still reviewing my profile and the result will be out next week. I am worried that maybe I am rejected? Cause someone got the admission of their phd program yesterday.

I saw someone get rej from UBC last week.

I have some update news from Florida State. The status online has been changed like this: "Your application for admission is complete. Graduate admission decisions are made by the academic departments with final approval by the Office of Admissions." I have no idea how the final decision would be. Pray for an admission. Do anyone apply FSU this year?

I saw some cases from the schools that they would invite the applicants to the universities for a visit and pay the whole travel expense (even the long-distance flight from China to U.S.A). But these all happened after the decision of the offer have been made. I am curious that for those applicant who want to visit the school during the Review period, like me, what should we do to ask for a chance to go for a visit? Who should we contact to? Is it a proper way to do such kind of thing before the admission/offer? Appreciate of all the answers.

Hi urbanchic, I applied Boston Univeristy as well. Did you have any information about their review progress? I have no idea how to check the status at all cause there is no such link from the website.

Thanks for your information mb1212. I mean OSU for ohio state and are you applying its Ph.d program as well? My status on the website is still AcadReview. I am not sure whether they have a rolling system in admission or not cause my application is finished at the last minutes by Jan 15th. Maybe you applied earlier than me and that's why you got result early. Anyway, hopes that comes a good one for you.

Oh, thanks for your information. I didn't visit with Boston cause they don't send me any email regarding this since I submit my application. The last email I got from them is your package is complete and ready for review. Also, they don't have the online status checking system as well.

Talking about the Eco Geography professor, I will add Luc Anselin from Arizona State University. Just for reference only.
