      Wow, lucky to know you! I am little wondering because I saw you are in Maryland but you didn't choose Maryland and JHU. That's surprised me a lot. How do you decide which schools do you want to apply? Location you prefer I guess. Because Boston and California are no doubt the two top choices for medical relevant spots: )

      I did not apply to Maryland or JHU because I've been in the state of Maryland for the past 16 years of my life, and I wanted to explore the rest of the country. I love Maryland and the DC/Baltimore area, but I think I should also experience other places too.
