Speaking of Canadian schools - anyone willing to claim the UVic acceptance posted earlier today?  And if so, can you say whether you applied to the CSPT concentration?

For what it's worth, I got notifications that my Academia page had been viewed several times over the past few weeks. When I checked the views they were all from cities where I had applied to programs. Like mollified I had just set one up to download articles, so my page is blank. After realizing that programs were checking I updated my info/pic/etc. but still don't have any uploads.

Hi! I think it seems like a very strong department. I'm especially interested in the overlap of performance studies and rhetoric with critical and literary theory, so I am pretty attracted to them (they have a performance scholar as well as some really cool rhetorical theorists). Will you be taking advantage of their stipend to travel to campus in March? I know I will be: beer cheese soup is enough of a reason. 

The Kings Men wrote/published the first folio. Otherwise all there was were the foul papers which were used to produce the cue scripting.
 
What you read today as "Shakespeare" in literature is a complete fabrication. No such written thing existed when the plays were performed.. and they were created to be performed. Acting as if the literary analysis divorced from the performance has any validity is just academic masturbation.

Ugh.. Just stop talking until you take a theater history class or at least google it.

Actually, everything I wrote was because I have taken theatre history classes (for four years, in fact). I changed course when I decided I didn't much care for the people who actually do theatre. I'm glad to see the personalities haven't changed much.

I'm going to hastily generalize that whatever involvement you thought you had in theatre was trivial, laughable, and at best superficial.
