Certainly it could be stated that a person who is unemployed and hungry will never be quenched if he is told that he/she should give importance to the spending towards arts and make him wish that somehow he will get a job. This will atypical on the part of the government and the leaders. By redirecting the government funding towards the pivotal issues of their nation such as hunger and unemployment, these issues could be tackled with more nuances and rigour. For instance in the annual budget the leaders of the country should cut off the amount they spend in the field of art. Meanwhile it should give more amount of sums to the departments which are working for the upliftment of the unemployed. The money well spend on the unemployed definitely have a ripple effect on the issues such as hunger and poverty in the coming future. A person when employed will have the money to spend on food and the other amenities which will slowly but steady eliminate the hunger problem faced. In this way a person could directly participate in rousing the economy of the country as well as the social standards of living. So, it is very essential to acknowledge the allocation of the money to areas which encompasses the masses. As we look at the statistic around the world most of the crimes take place in the parts of the countries which are severely hit by poverty. The criminals in general constitutes a large number of unemployed people who are frustrated and in order to provide food for themselves and their families they either rob a store or bank or they boost cars. For example the on going turmoil in the Middle East where ISIS is taking advantage of the people, who are unemployed people who could not even have a one time meal,by recruiting them in their horrendous activities. It could be seen as one problem can give birth to many others, it is just like dropping a stone in the pond. To stop all this a discerning and pragmatic approach is needed on the expenditure by the governments all around the globe. It is obvious that art is a crucial part of our heritage and our culture, but its requirements should not be met on the grounds by ignoring the problems faced by a nation which involves millions of lives. Therefore, it is pivotal to look at the needs and necessities of the present times and its effects on the lives of the majority of the people involved.
