Chemical engineering's visit weekend is March 18-21.

I didn't apply, but I'm an undergrad at Penn, and if it makes anyone feel better, one of the professors on the graduate committee said they had well over 500 applicants this year but funding for 15 students. They also have a really good admitted student yield. = not a great admit rate Congrats to those who managed to get in.

I'm in to chemical engineering Ph.D. programs and starting my visits at the end of this month. Does anyone have advice for things I should be looking for when I visit these schools? I'm particularly wondering about meetings with faculty. What is generally discussed at these meetings? Would I mostly just talk about their research? Thanks for any help!
