  1. First of all, could you please help me in refining this hypothesis and if it sounds logical: "Positive perception of eco-brand used in green advertisement leads to trust in green advertisement." or it will make more sense if it will be like this - "the more positive perception of eco-brand consumer has, the more consumer trusts in green advertisement"? The core question is about the method I should use. as far as I know, to prove it wrong or right, I have to test the correlation level between that two construct. am I right? could you please advise? thanks.
  2. Thank you very much. this was helpful
  3. Hello people, I have a question for those who is conducting an online interview and getting interviewees from Facebook. I have a construct "Involvement in Social media" and I wanna measure it's influence on a trust in advertisement (Facebook Ads.) problem I am facing up is I cannot find proper scale to measure Involvement in Facebook. Maybe some of you have already done it, cauz it's kind of normal and mostly done data collection tool nowadays to gather data from Facebook users. Kindly help, please

  5. First of all, learn how to skim the text, it will help you a lot, trust me. Annotation for everything will make you tired after even ten page readings, so try to make the comments alongside the text ONLY on whatever really matters to the subject you are trying to learn. And one more practice that I find extremely useful, is the following: from the initial stage of reading/skimming imagine you are going to do a presentation on that topic/subject. UNDERLINE all those words/sentences/listings whatever you think will be appropriate to be situated on the presentation slides. Keep in mind that presentations are never loaded with lots of texts. It should be maximum of 12 words in a sentence, but always try to make it smaller. In a matter of comments alongside the text, you can write the words or even small sentences regarding the topic, whatever you virtually think that will include in "presentation" Once you master this technique, you'll naturally start to annotate/underline only the necessary stuff, what can keep on track to learn/revise the topic.
  6. I can completely understand how to be in your shoes right now. Had the same situation for my second defense of thesis (we have 3 defenses, each on every semester). Supervisor kindly approved all the stuff I did. what's so important she didn't even have any corrections for the theoretical model that I made with her help. but on the defense it went completely wrong. I received a lot of comments about the problems that I didn't even expect, even though I spend a lot of trying to improve my previous defense's mark to the highest. even though of this, I can't complain about her as she is really helpful, but don't know why we missed so many stuffs for my second part. Actually, it spoiled my average point of overall master, but nothing can be done. I am trying to be more skeptical about my final version of paper now while discussing it with her.
  7. Hello people, I'll just note here that it's my first post on this board Okay, business.. I am doing my master in marketing in Lithuania. As most of the master students, I am in the process of writing my master paper. I've had a preliminary research model/framework of my paper, but unfortunately due to some unseen circumstances I had to change few items in it. Now as I changed them, I faced the difficulty to find the proper measurement scales for them. These are the variables: 1. Involvement in social media (platform - Facebook) and 2. Previous Experience with product I own books of Marketing scales (Marekting scales handbook & Handbook of marketing scales) but none of them have any related information about them It might be that any of you had the same variables/constructs in your papers, so would be nice to if you suggest me few reliable scales or maybe you know any internet resources for such scales and instruments Thanks in advance P.S. Sorry to moderators of board, I guess, I had to open this thread in here: http://forum.thegradcafe.com/forum/93-research/ ?!
