Anyone dare to call CMU?
I contacted a prof at HCII, whom I'd been in touch with. He said that as far as he knew, HCII was done sending acceptances. I'm not sure about CS/ML departments.

Btw, when did you receive your acceptance notification? And by email or official paper letter?
I got my UMD College Park acceptance letter via email today.
Even my app status pending. Still waiting for the other places to respond though I don't have any hopes for CMU atleast since the HCII decisions have already been sent out.

I got into the HCII Phd Program today (i'm the result that said "I'm shocked" in the notes section).
Oh, I'm yet to hear from them. I guess this weekend is going to get ruined if they send me a rejection.
Any information on potential advisers? -
I applied to CS PhD in AI. I was contacted by a prof., and got my acceptance during the first "wave" of admits (2/9). Got full funding, but that's about all I know. The admit weekend is March 5 - 7.
Congratulations. I haven't received any notifications yet - my status is still applied. I read somewhere else that UMass gives rolling admissions. Anyways, I'm not sure what to expect so not hoping much.

Greetings, all. This is my second year applying for CS Ph.D., after going 0 for 7 last admission season. (I tried to log in with my old account information, but it claimed that the password was wrong. Oh well.) I'm an American applicant hoping to specialize in A.I.
Happy to report I've received 2 acceptances with funding thus far, from Maryland and Vanderbilt.
Also, to the person on the results search who asked the people who received an acceptance notification if the status changed on Maryland's website, mine still says "Pending Decision" if I log into my application so you may still have hope.

The status check just says " Forwarded for review etc etc" -
I applied to Robotics Institute and CS, and have yet to hear from either of them. Likely not a very good sign. The open house will definitely be a great place to meet the ML profs and get your name running throughout the dept.
Noticed u had an acceptance from UMass Amherst, MrRoboto. Which program and when did you hear from them? I applied for CS MS/PhD and specialization being AI

Where did you see the results from RI? There's definitely none in the result page in here. I know that from previous years, RI tends to send the decisions a bit later than the other institutes, and HCI is even later than RI.
I think I saw it in a member's profile. How about CS dept.? When do they send out results?

I saw plenty of decisions from CMU LTI/Robotics/COS etc? Anyone heard back from HCII or CS dept?
