Hello: I hope this is the right section for this post. I am just wondering how graduate school is important for my future. Namely UCs and CSUs. I understand one is more theoretical while the other practical, but how are big companies like Google or Orbitz for engineers. Do I have about the same chance to land an interview after graduate school? I am looking into Computer Science.

Hi: I am applying for computer science program and I am deciding between San Luis Obispo and Cal Poly Pomona(both in California). I was wondering what your opinion about is for each school and how the job prospects are after graduation with a MS degree. I am willing to live in apartments but I do reside in SGV so I can commute to CPP if necessary. My main decision would be about my future in the industry. Also I come from a non-CS background if that matters. I look forward reading your opinions!
