As far as I know, if your profile stands out, they will contact you like really soon (can be within a week). Otherwise the waiting is 4 to 6 weeks if there is going to be an interview.
The same thing. I just got my rej this morning. I have a friend who submitted the app like 5 days ago and got the interview invite 3 days later. She graduated from U. Columbia.
Another friend applied before Dec. 15 but still got no update.
Good luck guys! It's a relief for me. I had been checking my emails several times a day, hopefully I will stop doing this soon.
I actually just checked that for you. The available dates are Jan. 12-15, 20-22, and 26-27. No available dates in Feb. yet.
I can still access the interview dates through a link sent by the program. I hope I didn't violate anything.
Haven't heard back anything after the interview. And the school will be closed from Dec. 24 to Jan. 1.
I supposed the department is swamped with applications around this time. Don't know how long we have to wait.
Are you going to retake the GRE or TOEFL? I would say the quant part can be improved, 165+ is more competitive. Please also provide any quant or programing courses you have taken as well as their grades.
@jojot Thanks! I got the invitation via email. I could then choose a time slot for the interview. The process is simple and clear. Hope you can get the invitation asap!
Had my interview on Nov. 30th, the interview format is video-conference with 5 people asking behavioral and technical questions. By the way, I'm an international student.
Submitted the app on Oct. 14, got an interview invitation 4 weeks later, the interview is scheduled on Nov. 30. Guess it's better to do it after Thanksgiving, since they won't be working during the holiday.
