Got an unfunded MS offer from UMich, obviously going with the funded GATech PhD offer. Still waiting for Purdue to respond.

I don't think so to be frank. They are aware that people apply to multiple colleges, and need to make a decision. Just explain your situation over the phone and I'm sure they'll at least give you a hint of what to expect. Also, it's easier to wiggle out info over the phone than by sending an email. Good luck!

Yesterday actually. I called them two days back and they implied that all PhD acceptances were out. There is a waitlist however, but they told me that I was not on it.

UMich rejected my PhD application but offered me a unfunded MS. I'm definitely going with the funded PhD offer GATech.

I'm still waiting for Purdue, UMich, and NCSU ECE. Have any finished making their decisions??

Yeah, unfortunately. There is a chance for waitlist, but it's rare.

I'm in the same boat for GATech. It's 18 hours each way for me, and I'll be paying ~$1000 out of pocket, so it's just not worth visiting only one university.

According to someone who called EECS, not all decisions have been finalized. What do you guys think?

Is the process still ongoing or is it over? I only see around 6 acceptances in the results for this batch. I forgot to send in an original copy of my transcript, but I sent one a week back and it should arrive soon. I hope that's why I haven't heard anything yet

Waiting for Purdue too. I got into GATech though, so I'm psyched about that!

So if we don't hear anything this week, assume a rejection? That's what happened last year it seems.

I got an unofficial admission from Georgia Tech ECE. I had a Skype chat with the coordinator of the subarea I applied to (VLSI), and he mentioned that I also was selected for a 1 year TAship. The official letter should arrive in 2 weeks. Pretty psyched! I have not heard anything from my other choices however. UMich and UCB specifically have already sent out acceptances and interview notices as far as I can tell, so that's kind of worrying. I applied just before the deadline, so maybe that's what's delaying things? Anyhow good luck to everyone else
