Congrats!! Yes, it means you got in Sorry for the delay I just saw this! Unfortunately I'm not sure when they updated my Rosi account, I hadn't checked for about a week (guilty) so it could have been updated before Wednesday. HOWEVER, I received a package from U of T yesterday so chances are they only accepted me this week as I heard packages should arrive very shortly after you are accepted online. Hope that helps a bit!

I found out last week I got into Western!! For the one year Advanced Standing program at Kings College. I just looked at my Rosi account for U of T and it says "invited", does this mean I got in? I didn't receive an email or letter in the mail. Congrats to all of the other successful applicants, you earned it! And those still waiting to hear back -have faith and don't stop trying until you get in. This was my second year applying for my Masters and I was so discouraged the first time when I didn't get in but I developed a stronger resume/personal statement this time around and it paid off.

Hi everyone, for those of you who applied to Western's MSW program I have a question for you. I submitted my application on the deadline yesterday and when I log back into my Western account, there is no history available showing my submitted application. I read on the Western site that we are able to view our application after, update profile info and see our acceptance status but for me there is literally no info available. So naturally now I'm freaking out! I'm not sure if my application got completely erased (even though it said 'submitted', i even printed off this page luckily), or if possibly there was a system glitch that has to be fixed. If anyone has any similar issues please let me know! I tried calling but they're closed of course and I can't wait until Monday

Hi Everyone! I know applications are due very soon, but as I’m finishing them I want to know what my possible chances are of acceptance. I applied to the U of T MSW advanced standing program last year and got wait-listed. I took on a volunteer position since then and I have tried to build up my resume a bit but I have pretty much zero paid work experience. I graduated in 2015 and it has been difficult finding a job that aligns with my interests and values which worries me a lot since work experience is heavily weighted during the admission decision. I am applying again to U of T (fingers crossed) as well as York (since I did my undergrad there) and Western (only due in Jan). 1) 7.8 out of 9 GPA (York has a different rating scale) –I think that is an A-, but I’m not positive 2) Research Methods Course –A average 3) 1 year (700 volunteer hours) BSW practicum at an agency that provides supports to young mothers 4) 3 years as an Intake Administrator and Psychological assistant at a Psychologist’s office (current employment) 5) 1 year (3-6 hours week )as University course note-taker for students with physical and/or learning disabilities (paid) 6) 3 hours/week volunteer at Southlake Hospital as a Patient and family resource volunteer in the cancer centre (started in Sept-current) 7) 1 hour/week for a school year, English tutor for a child with a learning disability 8) 3-4 hours a week for a school year volunteering at a food bank I would like to know whether I have a competitive application and at this point if there is anything that I can do to strengthen it (possibly before I submit my Western app. in mid-Jan) as it seems as though we have some very qualified and experienced applicants! Any feedback would be appreciated. Good luck to everyone
