I think if wisc is notifying via website, my status wont change until at least 7am tomorrow, correct? Pls someone confirm so i can stop hysterically refreshing that damn page every 2 mins.

Awwww, i know. You've got a really gd range of schs tho! And we know interests n agendas almost ALWAYS change during grad sch. Whos to say which sch fits best? Im sure u will get sth this round. Dun worry

No worries...glad i cud help (a little bit). Wisc is one of my top choices as well and if i get rejected i will be just as devastated. Will rely on u guys to gimme cyber hugs then. What other schs r u applying to n whts ur interest? Sorry cant see signatures on mobile.

On mobile n cant see goofy's signature but 167/170!!! Thts really impressive. What can we say...grad sch admission is absolutely arbitrary. Dun read too much into it n hope for an acceptance from a sch that fits u better!

Same here - happens to every single school i apply to cos part of my legal name (im asian) was not spelt out on the gre report. But some schs just didnt bother to ask me about that and when i asked they simply sent me automated emails saying the scores shd be sent to code xxxx....not really helping. I managed to set it right for most schs but to this date i still dunno if my app to duke was even complete :/

Thats wht im wondering...did they just send out that one single acceptance on 20th n nothing else in these 7 days? Seems a little off. Wish someone would claim that acceptance and fill us in. Im expecting a rejection from washington for bad fit but "not knowing" is worse, really.

Wow! I myself am particularly drawn to applicants with "weird" profile - not the 4.00 GPA straight out of UG aiming to finish by age 25 i-only-wanna-publish ones. Your experience n work seem relevant to ur research agenda, which i think is a big plus. I say that becos my work is also related to my research and im hoping it really is a plus, haha. Does anyone claim the washington acceptance on the results board? Not a particularly gd fit for me but it seems to be the earliest to notify their admits among the schs i applied to so im quite desperate to hear from them I really need some news (gd or bad) these few days or i dunno how many pounds will i put on with the binge-eating.

Your stats r impressive. They prolly think even if they accept you, you wont go anyway.
