So, nearing the end of the admissions cycle this year, I've received 3 offers so far: Wayne State's Biology program, the molecular and cell bio program at USUHS in Bethesda, and the biology program at UK. I interviewed at both UK and USUHS, and liked both programs, although the cost of living is significantly higher in Bethesda. In terms of reputation and potential postdoc/career opportunities, which of the 3 would you recommend? Does anyone have any personal feedback about these programs? Thank you for any advice/suggestions!!

I interviewed on the 19th, too, but received a rejection email from them Thursday. Really liked the program, and thought the interviews went well, but I guess not...

Has anyone received an acceptance/rejection notification yet from either U. Iowa's MCB, or University of Kentucky's Biology doctorate program?

I applied and received an interview to the MCB program in Bethesda, but I was curious if anyone had any feedback on the program, graduate outcomes, etc...? What's the general reputation of the department, especially compared to other similar mol. & cell bio programs?

I'm applying this year to biology/biomedical doctorate programs, I've worked as a research tech in a cancer biology lab for the past 2 years. My undergraduate degree was in Biology with a molecular biology concentration, overall GPA 3.24, 3.31 in upper division science courses. I have 3 years of undergraduate research experience, along with summer research internships at Mayo and Vanderbilt. GRE: 165 V, 153 Q, 5.0A So far I've applied to the following programs: Mayo Vanderbilt IGP Baylor Case Western BSTP U. Kentucky Biology Louisville Marshall University BMS West Virginia Penn State Virginia Tech Do I have a decent shot of getting an interview/admission to those programs? What other schools do you recommend, considering my GPA?
