Hello Guys ! ! Finally received official admission letter from SFU Office of Graduate Studies few mins back. So now officially offered MPH - Environmental and Occupational Health. My fav stream. Deadline to accept the offer is 14 days from today i.e. 14/04/2016. Still awaiting response from Uni of Alberta, University of Toronto... Any insight into MPH - EOH program at SFU ? How you rate it ? Please share... Thanks with regards.

Hi to all ! ! Returning to this forum after a long hiatus...I have received a mail from SFU that FHS has recommended me to OGS for admission in MPH - Environmental and Occupational Health stream. If approved by OGS, I will receive official offer letter within 1-2 weeks. SFU is among my top choices. But still waiting for U o T (Occupational and Environmental Health), U o A ( Occupational and Environmental Health) and McMaster results. Could not contact any last graduate from SFU. Any comments for the program from SFU ? Went through the website and read the Course Requirement. Found it comprehensive as far as EOH stream is concerned. Even my status is still like a pendulum. I have moved to the score of 475 in Express Entry and fingers are crossed for the next draw. So PR is also in the sight. But the EE process will take at least 6 months and I will not be able to make it up for Sept-2016 deadline for my admission. So confused at a moment. Congrats to all who have been accepted. Lecturer in Department of Preventive and Social Medicine (2 years 9 months) 2. Medical Consultant in Revised National TB Control Program supporting network (WHO) (10 Months) 3. Medical Consultant for United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) for a project on Biomedical Waste Management (5 months) 4. Medical Consultant for UNICEF (Maternal and Child Health Program) (3 months and continuing) Research Experience: 1. Thesis on MDR TB during my M.D. 2. Research paper published about Biomedical Waste Management in International Jurnal 3. Research paper published about TB in National Journal of Community Medicine 4. Paper presentations (Oral and Poster) in International, National and State Conferences. With my this Academic and Professional background, I am wiling to apply for MPH -Environmental and Occupational Health at U o T, McMaster, U o A, U o Sask, SFU, MPH - Epidemiology at University of Guelph. Already submitted applications in U o A (SOPHAS - app verified), U o G, SFU, U of Sask) In the process of completing application for McMaster and U o T. Please guide me from previous experience about my Chances. I know my GPA is low but still do I have a chance ?
