I interviewed a couple of days ago for USC. No word on whether or not I will be offered a spot, yet!

The campus itself is beautiful and I really appreciate the art program. It is a pretty interdisciplinary program and I have heard that they are very strong when it comes to photography. The area the campus is situated in is more suburban, although downtown Riverside has become a lot more exciting with more stores and art galleries. The wonderful thing is that it is only 50 minutes away from Los Angeles, which is a huge artistic hub and has some of the world's best museums, galleries, and artists!

I applied to: UCLA (New Genres w/ Interdisciplinary studio as my back up) - no word yet USC (this is an interdisciplinary program) - no word yet Yale (Sculpture) - no word yet Berkeley (this is an intermediary program) - I interviewed last week. Still no word back. This is my #1 choice, so I'm so nervous to hear back!

Also rejected for research in Germany It's my first time applying, and it seems like a LOT of folks have had to apply more than once. Thankfully I'm still awaiting the DAAD ! Good luck everyone else!

Also a long-time lurker, first time poster here. VERY nervous/excited about the possibility of finding out today about the Fulbright!!! I'm applying for a research position as a "performance artist" in Germany. Sending positive thoughts to everyone!!! <3
