If I get wait listed at a school would it be inappropriate to ask how many people got acceptance offers and how many they waitlisted? Or should I just be patient and wait?

One of my offers says that I have to reply by February 29th, however, I'm pretty sure I have until April 15th. How should I reply? It is one of my top choices, but I'm still waiting to hear back from my other top choice. They can't take away their offer if I don't respond by then right?

Hi guys, I just received an interview invitation for one of the programs I applied to, but they asked if we could have a video interview on Monday morning. I have a test and a paper due on Monday. And this would be my first interview since the other ones are later in February, and since it's my top choice I would really like a tiny bit more time to prepare. So I was wondering if it would be detrimental to my chances if I asked if there another time that I could interview? I was just not expecting such short notice for the interview.

What did the email say? I emailed them today (for the IDI Ph.D program), and they said that interview invites would be sent out by mid-January.

I actually emailed the home program. That's why I was concerned. I guess I can wait and call them tomorrow if she doesn't respond by then. Thank you

Oh okay. I already emailed them asking about it 30-40 minutes ago, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. I'm presuming they're really busy right now. Would it be obnoxious to also call?

Yeah I'm wondering about that too! I applied to the Immunology program. I also saw a few people got in today. I can't tell if that means they're done or if more will be released in the next few days.
