Anyone else CCA bound?

Ahhh as of today MassArt's website says my application has been reviewed and SMFA's says a decision has been made, but neither have made the decision available to me! Impatient now more than ever!

I got a very informal email from my admissions counselor on Wednesday asking me if I had time next week to talk about their program.

Got my first acceptance today!!! I didn't even have to interview with CCA. So awesome!! Yes!

My application to SMFA got delayed over my transcript coming in with my maiden name, so I still held onto hope when everyone else got interview requests and I didnt. Well, I got an email this morning asking me to chat next week!! It's the first good news I've received! What kind of questions did they ask those of you who already interviewed? Also, has anyone heard from Boston University or University of Miami yet?

So SMFAs website says it was updated last Tuesday and I still haven't heard anything on my decision. Losing my mind. I'm guessing it's another rejection coming my way. Why must they torture me so? Temple left me this lovely message on my dashboard saying my award was being held up by missing financial aid documents when my application had already been rejected. These admissions departments are so cruel!

I got a rejection letter in the mail about 2 weeks ago. Hoping for you that no news means good news!

Does Temple interview everyone before acceptance, or do they ever accept some students without interviewing? I got an update saying I have missing financial aid documents holding up my award from being finalized.. I had presumed rejection because I hadn't heard about an interview, and now I am just not sure what to think.

Painting. Based on what I've read on here, I have assumed rejection from some schools while I think no news is still good news from a couple schools including Rutgers. Hopefully, we'll know more soon!

I thought for sure a rejection letter from SAIC would be waiting in my mailbox when I got home from vacation today, but still nothing. Has anyone else not heard from them at all? So far, I've only gotten a rejection from Yale and haven't heard from any other school. A couple schools had a delay matching my transcript since my name changed, so I still have some hope that my apps are being reviewed, but I am losing my mind. Ahhhhhh waiting sucks!

Is this referring to Irvine? Anyone know which schools don't bother to send rejections?

Well, I finally heard from my first school.. Yale just rejected me. Hoping you all have better luck!

The sooner the better for FAFSA. MassArt urged applicants to get theirs done by Feb. 1 for priority, but I think most schools want it by March at the latest.

I completed my fafsa a couple weeks ago. I sure hope it's a good sign!

Okay, maybe I'm crazy, but it looks like the wording on Austin's page has changed a bit. It now says, "Your file has been forwarded to the Graduate Committee for review. Each individual graduate program sets its own schedule for reviewing application files. You should consult the graduate coordinator in the program to which you have applied to determine when decisions will be made." and I think before it just said "Your application is in review." or something. Am I losing it or what? omg I can't take the waiting knowing that other departments have already heard from Austin! Come on, painting!! I gotta know! Ahhhhhh freak out!!

I just checked the results page and a painter got an email on Friday for an interview. "Preliminary selection" congrats to whoever it is!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Alment. You're right.. I shouldn't freak out. They have rolling admission anyway, and they seemed interested in my work. It's just so stressful waiting!

I am losing my mind right now!! SMFA is one of my top choices, and I got an email from them today saying my application is incomplete - that I haven't paid my application fee and that my transcript hasn't been received. I was in touch with admissions over the long MLK weekend and was told the error would be corrected. My transcript is in my maiden name which has been an issue for some schools, but my undergrad confirmed sending it. I checked my bank account and the payment cleared. I had a really great review with them at portfolio day and just hoping I still have a chance. Ahhhhhh!! I am really, REALLY happy for you guys!!!!!
