there isn't any availability on the calendar. the days are gray not green.

oh mannnn! that's such an epic bummer.  Call them and double-check maybe?  Maybe they can make room, they were probably expecting international applicants to Skype and maybe a lot of them are flying so they took spaces.

I was invited for an interview, and I wanted to do it in person, not skype. oh well.

you're supossed to do it in person if you live in the US, you just uncheck Skype---- to my understanding at least.

Understandable - I haven't posted my site either for the same reason. I'm sure you'll do great! Your work is obviously strong to have so many interviews at great schools lined up right out of the gate. Are you applying straight out of undergrad or did you take a few years off of school?

i graduated from Tyler in 2012, i was in painting and sculpture... I definitely definitely definitely would not get these interviews if it was 2012, or even 2014. yikes!  I really have no clue what I'm expecting to come of them!

Lolz! I'm up here in Minnesota and we only shut down if it's snowmaggedon and/or -35 degrees. So trust that your pilots have flown in all types weather. Plus, Boston gets an average of 48inches of snow a year so they probably have a pretty excellent snow removal system.

they absolutely do not have a good snow removal system! they are even talking about trying to host the olympics sometime in the next decade soley to raise money for snow removal. plan well because the trains are constantly cancelled in snow... i lived in boston last year. take an uber, it will cost you though.

Congrats all!  I didn't apply to Yale but I can't help but check this board as well lol. @Alment you are killin it right now!  Do you have a website?  So curious about your work!

Thanks!!  I don't know what in the world is happening to me.  I haven't published my website yet and I'm not quite ready to share in the cafe till maybe after a couple of interviews!
To get real with ya'll... I'm a nervous wreck and could easily screw up any of these interviews.

  7. ...i know, i did.... I thought maybe you didn't because it seems like you thought you didt get a letter and theres a letter when you click it.

thank you alment! notice you are from philly, any recommendation maybe ? ;)

    i got it through email~

I don't know many specific details about the program at Penn, I was a tyler undergrad and haven't actually encountered any Penn students (its in west phila!) despite how many PAFA students and UArts students I've talked too.  I have a really great impression of the program though based on its connections to the ICA in phila, I can't have enough good things to say about this AMAZING ICA.  Philadelphia is a really amazing place to live and if you like your impression of the program then you should definitely go.
