Their program was sanctioned and dismantled after laud humphrey's seminal/unethical study published as "tearoom trade." It was a big moment in LGBQ studies; bad moment for research ethics. They have done a number of AP and advanced AP, and tenure-hires in the last two years, all from elites programs. Clearly relaunching and aiming for high-ranked grad dept.
wooooww...conversation thread got locked by a senior mod because of ppl fighting. so dumb... meanwhile, acceptances have been posted from places I've applied and I've gotten neither a rejection or acceptance. purgatory. this is awful....................................................
Can anyone explain why it appears that Notre Dame interviews were confirmed different days? Usually schools do everything at once, as Irvine appears to have done yesterday.
People who get into top programs are either working full time jobs, currently in an MA program, or currently in peace/americoprs. I.E., working their ass off w/o time to participate in small-talk or off-topic conversation, but trust me they are looking at the results board. it's a very useful resource and if they know it exists they are checking once a day at least
I've applied to ND and my application status says: "To date there is no decision on your application. As soon as a decision is available we will update this page."
Rejection numero uno perhaps!!!!
