Yes, I have received their rejection email.

I just assumed they rejected me since other people got the offer already.

After getting two rejection from UCB and Stanford BioE, I finally got an invitation from Caltech BioE, which was surprising to me.. I thought I fit UCB and Stanford much more, considering the POI's research and my research background. But I forgot to submit my official transcripts to Stanford and I missed my official Toefl to UCB, which might be the reason for rejection.

I am an international student. But I am in US. So I will attend the on campus interview.

I asked my POI about Stanford BioE and I was told they were still finalizing the decisions, which would be sent out in a week.

You are also applying for 2016 Fall? not 2017 Fall? Yes, I just want to know the result from Stanford as soon as possible..Even if it is not good, I can arrange my interview for MIT at 2.29. Cause last year Stanford's interview was at 2.26-28. I worry about the conflicts between them.

Do you have any idea about the acceptance rate for microbiology@ MIT? I emailed the program coordinator, she told me that there would be ~25 interviewees for 7 positions. Since they could not 100% guarantee all the students accept their offers so I imagine they will give more than 7 offers. Thank you!

Anybody heard back from Stanford BioE?

Hi, I just heard back from umich EEB. I am super excited. In their letter, they says dress is casual. But I was told so many times I need to dress formally. I am a little bit confused.

Received an invitation from MIT microbiology. The interview day will be 2.16 or 2.29. So excited.
