Thanks! Did you apply PhD to UW also? UW just said that due to budgeting and staffing issues, they are suspending admission for the 2016-'17 academic year. I took it pretty hard, but I can always reapply next year. Good luck to you, though!

Thank you! =) I was waitlisted at NYU also. But I was so horribly disappointed about UW and them having to suspend admission =/ I was really counting on UW. Now that I've heard back from all schools, I have a really tough decision to make >_< Good luck to you!! =)

Has anyone heard anything from UCLA yet or know of when they usually notify people? I applied MA for ethno, but haven't heard a thing.

I received a rejection from Columbia today. And I also applied to NYU, but haven't heard from them at all =/

I think I'm a good fit overall. I was asking because they sent out an email asking their top prospects if they were still interested in being admitted, precisely because they are tight on funding this year. Is their funding offer really that bad, though? Cause I would love to go there, but I'd be moving across the country to do so and idk that I could do that if the funding was that bad.
