I just called them..... He said that since my transcripts took forever to get there my application was held for the March 2nd review, but it has already been reviewed and I should be getting a letter very soon... He also told me that the facility was very impressed with my application and I will be very happy and okay..... Okie dokie.... Call them!!!!

I can imagine.... Hang in there and don't lose positivity!!! I'm crossing my fingers for all of you!!! Positive vibes and hugs to all!!

My coworker is still waiting... She applied on the December deadline .

Sooo..., I just received an email from USC to inform me that I did not get the Dean's leadership scholarship. Funny thing, the end of the email said ' we look forward to seeing you here this fall'? I wonder if that is a very generic closing or if I will be getting my acceptance soon?… I guess I'll have to wait and see. Did anyone else have the same experience?

This makes so much sense!! I paid my student loan off some time ago, but I get it... Congrats on the addition to your family; that's incredible!!! ☺️☺️☺️ Yes, saving that money also makes sense... I would want to do the same... I am not sure how much time they gave; I accepted immediately. This was my number one choice; I love the program and I loved the campus while I was there for my undergrad. I also applied to USC, but I prefer the smaller cohort and UCLA experience... I have no heard from USC yet...

FASFA related information should be sent out end of March.... Call the financial aid office and ask questions!!

I see... I am not sure about other scholarship opportunities.... I didn't get my scholarship award until about two weeks after my acceptance... I applied late November... Financial aid is pretty non existent for graduate studies besides scholarship and concentration fellowship opportunities ... Everything is loans.... Yea.... Not cool.... Crossing my fingers that you get a great scholarship!! Yes; I totally get it! I have an 8 and 2 year old.. If you can sacrifice for two years, it will be worth it in the end!!! The county will also give you money every month for the child!! Something it think about!!

@Lori, you can accept through a link in the letter itself. You don't need to wait for your actual physical letter in the mail to accept!!! ☺️☺️☺️☺️

Hey @Lori, yes! I got my acceptance letter online on Feb 13th and then received my official letter in the mail about a week and a half later!

It doesn't say accepted or rejected; it says my decision letter is ready for review...

I just got an email from the Social Welfare and Graduate Division ; I was offered the Graduate Opportunity Fellowship!! I can't believe it!!! I am so honored!!! good things are coming you guys, be ready!!

@jmcanada, UCLA sent out their first batch of acceptances two weeks ago, and are supposed to send more this coming week... They didn't sent out a whole lot the first round... Hopefully the next round will be more fruitful.

Same thing happened to me @MSWinmyfuture, I have called several times and they say that I will be waiting until the March deadline to have my application reviewed.... My transcripts surfaced Jan 28th even though they all ready had them before then. I asked to speak to a supervisor since it's not fair, but they said March...

I applied around the 1st, but my transcripts took fooorrrrwwvveerr to get there, so I will be waiting until March to find out the news... Columbia is amazing!!!!! Hopefully your school of choice gives you a nice scholarship package!!!

I have all ready accepted UCLA's offer.... I love the program, and the campus! I am very happy I will be going back for graduate school! However, I am very curious about what USC has to offer in terms of scholarships... You never know! I'm looking forward to their offer!!

@Msw_22, I don't expect to hear from them until the first or second week of March... My application was submitted almost a week before the due date, but my community college transcripts didn't arrive until the end of January.... I am on the wait until after the March deadline list.... Two weeks will fly by soon enough!! Well....
