Feel like less decisions would come on a Monday than rest of the week. Last year we only had decisions from a few schools on this day (to name a few: CUNY, AZ, Stanford, UCI, MD, Berkeley).

Agreed. Maybe I'm biased coming from law school (where LSAT ruled over everything and my 170 was considered inferior by classmates) and business school (where the GMAT wasn't god like the lsat but definitely mattered), but can we not pretend like the GRE means *nothing*? You should be able to break 25th percentile if you want to study at like a top 5 program in the country. This isn't evil to say.

The fact that someone with a 148/143 GRE is claiming a UW acceptance means either 1) it's trolling or 2) GRE cutoffs don't even exist really

I don't know if Brown ever had a January acceptance in the results. At least not the last few years. Goes to show you at this time of the year, who knows Congrats to everyone, especially Wisconsin/Brown folk withdrawing from all the schools I applied to yay!!

How many offers will a top school send out that accepts 6-10 applicants a year? Roughly? 20? 30?

Just went through and checked out the GRE scores from people admitted to the top programs. Holy crap. Lots of 99th percentile in both V and Q. Shiiiiit

Very awesome to hear, thanks so much. I only applied to a small # of programs who have yet to announce so I'm not freaking out, I was just worried that my application would not be given full consideration due to inside baseball. Glad to hear that is overblown.
