Yea, I'm thinking the same thing. Brown will be rejection #6 for me. I just want this season to be over with. 4 more rejections and I'm done.

With four admits and a pretty small cohort, I wonder if there will be any more Brown admits, or if rejections should be coming soon...

I realise that's a pipe dream, but I am staring to pathologise my application since people with profiles that seem similar to mine seem to have offers raining from the sky.
I agree with you. I wonder what kind of "kiss of death" might have been lurking in my apps. And specific program recommendations would be very helpful!

So it sounds like Berkeley acceptances probably did go out yesterday. There are three on the board from yesterday, and last year only three total acceptances were posted. Do we think more might be going out or rejections should arrive soon?

Thank you for the encouragement @gingin6789, @Shamon, @redhillgirl, and @lioneironaut. I'll try to stay optimistic and also figure out a plan to reapply next year.
Also, seems like there wasn't much in the way of results activity today. I guess the "slow week" is panning out so far as predicted.

To be honest I've given up hope (99.99% of it anyway) for my apps and Berkeley was a fantasy reach anyway. I'm thinking positive thoughts for the rest of y'all though.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll be looking into these for sure. I already technically applied for the Columbia MA (secondary to Ph.D.) so I guess I'll have to see what happens with that too.

Grats to the acceptances today! I haven't been obsessing over hearing from schools quite as much after the rejection-fest I got during the last two days of last week... plus my grandma died yesterday. Suxor.
And did someone say pictures of goofy pups? Where???

Since my Ph.D. Application season this year isn't going so well thus far, I'm looking into Masters programs in Sociology, preferably those with at least partial funding. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations of these types of programs that I might be able to apply to?

Email to check UCLA's website came in the middle of the night. At this point I'm not surprised; it was a rejection.

My timeline predictions based on the last 3 years have been pretty off the mark as well. I guess the departments get around to it when they get around to it. Boulder is a lovely place, so hopefully they'll get around to it soon!
