I checked both applyourself and ask.northwestern but neither has a decision posted yet. Most of the NW decisions (rejections mostly) came out Feb 25th last year. So I guess I steel myself and wait for the inevitable.
How important is it to write to a potential supervisor? I am feeling a little jittery because I didn't write to anyone, thinking that in Economics research aims are typically not cast in stone at the beginning of the PhD... And from what I hear now, it seems to be part of the process.
Another acceptance has shown up on GC, and none in my inbox. I am beginning to worry that time to hear from Northwestern is running out... I hope chicunomics has wended (?) his way to this forum to (hopefully) dispel my fears.
PS. Congratulations to those admitted!
