I was interviewed by Rutgers and subsequently waitlisted. My understanding is that they have made their offers already (less than five funded offers!) and are waiting on responses from the admitted students.
Anyone know if Michigan sociocultural interviews? I see a few interview posts about Michigan on the survey, but not enough to convince me that it's something they do with every candidate. Also, has anyone heard back from them regarding when to expect results? Again, it looks like they usually send out results around the 11th, but who knows if it'll be the same this year.
Ah, fair enough! Congratulations on the acceptance!
I'm just going off of Irvine's tendency to interview all their finalists, the fact that Berkeley sent out a mass email to all finalists, and that Brown's sociocultural professors usually reach out to all their finalists within a few days of each other. Here's to hoping I'm wrong!
Hello all! I've been lurking here for a long while. All the waiting has prompted me to actually join in the conversation!
I'm waiting on results from nine applications (all Ph.D.), and all I've gotten back so far are three likely rejections (no interview from Brown, Irvine, or Berkeley). Anxiously awaiting what typically seems to be a big week for results!
