I got an awesome offer from Georgia Tech aerospace. My BS is in ECE and I want to study autonomous controls for my PhD. I am interested in the aerospace studies, and I have worked in the aerospace industry for a few internships. My questions is, if I get a PhD in Aerospace, specializing in ECE controls, will it limit me to only Aerospace jobs? Any and all advice is welcome! Help me please!

Hello everyone, First time posting here, so bare with me. I was just accepted into virginia tech and georgia tech's ECE PhD programs. Virginia Tech offered me 27.5k a year plus full out of state tuition covered for 3 years. I want to study systems and controls. Georgia Tech offered me no financial assistance (which I am told is common from georgia tech). My question is, should I even be considering georgia tech? I know it is an excellent school, but virginia tech has offered me so much... Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
