along the same lines, how long to most people take to hear back post-interview? I had an interview with Penn State Thursday of last week and have been anxiously awaiting the results, since it's one of my last options. I don't want to email and be annoying though.

Does anyone know if Duke is finished with acceptances? I've had complete silence from them, Vanderbilt, Illinois, and Arizona.

@kmr I didn't apply specifically to a joint program, but I received an interview offer from Penn State yesterday and they referred me to their joint History-Women's Studies program. Where are you looking?

Alright y'all I'm super late on here. Just binge-read all 28 pages in the last hour or so and my nerves are officially through the roof. I'm coming right out of undergrad hoping to be accepted to a PhD program for early modern Europe (primarily Germany) with some sort of concentration in the history of gender and sexuality. Hopefully being a German Lit and History double major will help me out. Has anyone heard back from any of these schools? Slash knows about what time they normally send out decisions? My major adviser told me I am not allowed to come to him freaking out until Feb 5 and that date is fast approaching.
