To the person who posted the "All applicants should read this" thing on the results thread... Thank you for saying what everyone is thinking, it made me laugh!
I've been wondering about that as well, but didn't ask when I got the calls. I'd like to assume the waitlists are fairly short with some schools only accepting 5-10 students... I feel guilty holding multiple spots on wait lists
@weilongli1 and @SuitCase There were a few schools that seemed affordable until they subtly dropped the "Please don't actually TA, you won't have time" bomb in the interviews Huge bummer. Wouldn't have interviewed if I were aware of that restriction.
Has anyone interviewed at WI yet (or in a previous year)? I'm wondering how "informal" this dinner the night before the interview is. Also, what the actual interview looks like? I think I got a schedule but it's a bit vague
Does anyone know what the interview process at MN looks like? Group interviews, individual ones, etc? I have a schedule for the day but it's not terribly descriptive. I don't think I'll ever feel fully prepared!
@gc09621 I've also applied to a couple other places in the midwest. I'm really just happy to even get any interviews!
Hi guys,
I'm new to the thread too.... So far I've heard back from Minnesota and Michigan (interviewing at both).
Hoping to hear back from WI today!!
Anyone else interviewing at Minnesota on Wed. Feb. 10? Or Michigan on March 13-14?
