I will be attending Georgia State (IR sub-field).

I haven't received funding info from GSU yet, but I will most likely attend regardless if I get funding.

I FINALLY heard from my last two schools, both today. I received an email rejection from UCSD (IR/PS) Ph.D, who referred me to their MPIA and an acceptance from Georgia State.

Still...from what I can tell, UCSD's IR/PS Ph.D has not sent out any rejections or acceptances (only MPIA has). Does anyone know what is going on with them? Their app deadline was back in mid-December.

Has anyone heard from UCSD's IR/PS Ph.D program? I see a handful of MPIA acceptances, but have heard nothing regarding Ph.D acceptances or rejections.

Are you referring to American University? If so, I received a rejection from the SIS Ph.D program weeks ago.

I haven't heard anything either.

Has anyone heard from UC San Diego (IR/PS) about Ph.D admits? I see a few M.A. acceptances, but have not seen any mention of the Ph.D program. The application deadline was in early December—this wait is just as bad as USC.

Does anyone claim the Hawaii-Manoa rejection?

I received my UMD rejection late last night. Email sent me to the website.

I have been told by my advisors that this it is pretty typical at most schools to have to meet the first month or two of expenses as grad students must begin classes before being added to the payroll, and depending on when classes start, you may miss the first payroll cycle and have to wait until the following month before receiving the first stipend. Can any grad students share when you received your first stipend?

I also received a rejection this morning. It was personalized with my name and address.

It was from the Financial Aid Office. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, as I have yet to be accepted anywhere yet.

I received an email from USC Financial Aid asking for me to submit a supplemental form in order for them to process my application for financial aid. I find this kind of odd since I haven't been told I was accepted to USC. None of the other schools (which rejected me) have asked for any financial aid forms to be completed. Could this mean I've been accepted and not been notified yet, or am I just reading too much into it? EDIT: It seems others have received this, as well. So, I'm going to try not to read too much into it.

I had a dream last night that I was accepted at UCLA. I hope that means I get good news from them today.

The "Meet USC" events are actually for high school students. The only thing I could find for grad students was the general USC Grad Admissions USC Preview, not a POIR Preview. Bees, are you a current student at USC or were you just recently accepted? Also, where is the information for a POIR specific Preview?

Ok. I found the info on the Grad Admission website. I wish they posted this in a more conspicuous place or even extended an invitation to applicants.

What preview? I haven't heard anything about this. I haven't received an acceptance or rejection, either, but I did receive a flyer from USC Financial Aid with FAFSA deadlines.

I find it kind of crazy that UCLA's visit dates are next week, yet they still have not finished sending out acceptances/rejections.

There is one American University SIS acceptance on the results page. Anyone else receive an acceptance or rejection?
