  1. Thank you for sharing. Exactly what I expected... Let's see the Master scholarship.
  2. when do you think we will hear from the MSP?
  3. I've totally lost my last hopes yesterday when some people were notified but we haven't. My hopes are focused right now into the Master scholarships...
  4. I do not think that restrictedly no interview = no ESOP. But I think your chances are low if you were not requested an interview, if that makes any sense.
  5. so do I! I haven't received any notification yet. As last year, I believe that no e-mail on March 14th may mean no ESOP, because last year rejection came after those who were awarded were notified ... finger crossed, anyway.
  6. Hello to everyone! have you guys noticed the new notification in the ESOP/Master Scholarship Programme web page? I copy/paste here so everyone can read. Therefore, I suppose that we will hear from them next week (finally, although not many hope since I wasn't interviewed). I also sent them an e-mail asking for the partial stipend. At the moment I received an answer, I let you know! Application for the academic year 2016/17The decision about the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Awards for the academic year 2016/17 will be advised on 15 March 2016. By the way, here is my track: Program: Physics M.Sc.Applied: Dec 4, 2015ESOP Interview: NoneAcceptance email: March 2, 2016Acceptance letter, by mail: March 7, 2016ESOP Result: ???
  7. Hey, Adding more information to the missing credits, I want to say that today I received my letter (admitted the 2rd and arrived the 7th but I live in a small spanish town far away from the capital) and I am sure that I lacked at least 4 credits in mathematics courses (applied for MSc Physics) and in the letter it is stated that I required NO extra credits in order to take part in the programme. Therefore, I am totally convinced that they count them in a nice a friendly way.
  8. Hey, my partner received the letter four works days latter. It had to travel from Zurich to Spain (north)
  9. Hey, also accepted over here in Physics MSc (finally!!!). Let's wait for the ESOP results (no hopes for me but I do for my partner who is a genius) !!!!
  10. Good to hear about the withdraw bottom again! Still waiting here about Physics MSc (they are going really slow... this year I haven't seen any result in the page about Physics MSc yet...) Congrats to those accepted today !
  11. Congrats !! Which track in Physics you would like to follow?
  12. So you have already received an email from the ETH, don't you? Congrats! Staying physics at ETH is one of my dreams
  13. I really appreciate that you took your time to help us !!!
  14. Well, I will take your hopes to make me feel better! It's not that hard waiting through this mess with you guys
  15. Hey guys! Just to keep adding information about the withdraw bottom... I don't have it anymore. I have it this noon, but this afternoon it disappeared...So I imagine that they just typed "rejected" in the system. What about you?
  16. I'm not gonna start to panic until Friday next week. Moreover, if the disappeared withdraw bottom meant "rejection", somebody would already realized that in previous years, doesn't it? Let's see if there is somebody that may help us regarding the bottom issue...
  17. It would be really useful if somebody who got rejected shares the availability of the withdrawn bottom.. Congrats to everyone who got accepted this week!
  18. I cannot take a screenshot I don't know why, but I swear than in the result page there are people who get accepted that received their confirmation in March (and they posted them in March) for different programs, Physics for instance. Think that even if you get accepted or rejected, you will received an email from them. There are people that in 2016 have already been rejected and they received the information sooner than others. I do not know exactly why for someones it takes longer than for others, but I do not believe that just because we are at 19th Feb we cannot hear an admission from them. On the other hand, It is true that this year we have not heard from the ESOP interviews... and last years that meant no ESOP at all. That would be more worrying. We need to take it easy, because if not, we may go crazy during wait time.
  19. I saw acceptances from last year 2015 still in the first week of march... Maybe is just that they are taking their time
  20. I am in the same situation as you are right now... I am so annoyed that there are only CM admissions in the result page... I haven't heard anything from any physicist applying to the Physics MSc.... Guess we only need to wait, although the time pass by and I get even more annoyed every sec...
  21. I would like to point out also another hint in this withdraw bottom issue. My partner has already been admitted to ETH three weeks ago, and he is able to see the withdraw bottom. He has just confirmed me that. @rehab-robotics, I still believe that maybe the withdraw bottom is not related to admission/rejection... Let's see if there is somebody who has been rejected that can confirm this theory
  22. I have no answer about admission from ETH Zurich, but my withdraw button is still available... Maybe it is because your application in currently being reviewed, and not "rejected" yet. Cheer up!!!!
  23. I am afraid that only you can decide this... I know that ETH Zurich is quite restrictive about their requisites, so if you are lacking more than 30 ECTS it will be highly probable that you get rejected... However, you can always give it a chance because they may be "friendly" when counting ECTS. For instance, I know people that lack around 10 ECTS of requisites for the BSc in Physics, and they got accepted without conditions of taking that courses in Zurich. I know that EPFL is not that strict as ETH Zurich, and both are great institutions, so if you want to be extra-sure, have a look to the requisites EPFL asks for.
