  1. I'm a little late to the party (I was wayyyy too nervous on Match Day to check here!), but congrats to everyone who accepted an offer and best of luck to people doing the second round of matching! Anyone else going to CSU Stanislaus??
  2. @weilongli1 Yep! You have the option of doing your entire 2nd year at away sites too, which appeals to a lot of people.
  3. @SuitCase Oh no! Did you contact anyone there directly to ask if they could take your materials via email or something?
  4. @SuitCase I loved Arkansas! They have a state-of-the-art simulation center, and they do a lot of telemedicine, which I think is great because that seems to be the direction healthcare is moving in general. I also loved that they have an entirely student-run free clinic that operates in the evenings to accommodate work schedules of people who otherwise can't afford (or are ineligible due to illegal immigrant status) healthcare. The students were all so nice and happy, too.
  5. I honestly liked all of the schools, though of course not in the same way... they're all so different, so it's hard to compare directly. They all had things I loved and things I wasn't so crazy about. Honestly, I will be happy to be accepted at all! It sounds like most programs had record numbers of applications (CSU had close to 200!), so it's more competitive than ever before! I do NOT want to do this again next year!
  6. Thanks, @weilongli1! And you're totally right, we've waited this long, we can wait 6 more days!
  7. Do you guys have any ideas of how to keep busy the next 10 days?? I finally finished interviews, so it's nice to not have to travel and/or think about how to answer interview questions, but now I'm literally counting down the hours, which just makes it feel even longer!!! What are your favorite tips and tricks for keeping yourself busy? Thanks!!! And good luck to everyone!
  8. Oh no... Did anyone else see on the survey about CSU Stanislaus? I haven't heard... not a good sign.
  9. Hey guys! Dying to hear from CSU too. Based on when they've notified applicants in the past, I thought they would have emailed people by last week. Any day now!!!
  10. Has anyone applied to/heard from Northwestern? Their application was due waaaaaay before any other program's (Jan. 3rd), but I've heard nothing. I went to their week-long summer internship and loved it there, so I'm anxious to hear back from them! PS--- if anyone else is wondering the same thing about Cal State Stanislaus, I emailed their admin coordinator to ask when we might hear. She said they're just now starting to go through applications, and they'll invite people for interviews at the end of Feb/beginning of March, and the interviews will be early- to mid-April. Kinda late, but I guess it's good since all the other programs seem to have everyone interview in March!
  11. @gc09621 I'm interviewing at MI Feb. 25-26!
  12. Hi all! New here. I'm in the same boat as everyone, nervously waiting and refreshing my email way too often! @weilongli1, what survey are you talking about in the last post? Just this one, or is there another forum to see which schools have started contacting and which haven't? Thanks! Also, I can't figure out how to make the signature with my list of schools, so I'll just write it in: Applied: Cal State Stanislaus, Arkansas, Alabama, Michigan, Northwestern, UBC, and U of Toronto Interviewing: Michigan, Arkansas, Alabama Rejected: None (yet, knock on wood!)
