Checked my Georgetown Apply Yourself portal and it said I was missing a transcript for a one-semester program. Hope it doesn't mean my application wasn't looked at...
Penn grad coordinator said, "We are currently finalizing admissions decisions. All letters will be sent out by the end of the next week."
Probably means I'm cooked. Pity.
When/how did you find out you were waitlisted at Northwestern? I'm asking because I think I am on an informal waitlist there, and the only waitlist result reported was two weeks ago.
Americanists accepted at Michigan: it is a cold and terrible place. If you believe Poli Sci Rumors, the department is run by qualitative scholars. You have better offers elsewhere!

Rejected from Vanderbilt. The DGS cc'd everyone on the email with the subject line "Disappointing news from Vanderbilt political science."
Someone replied all to let them know he got accepted somewhere else.
I've called Michigan and have more info on the wait list.
The graduate program coordinator said they shoot for a specific cohort size and the wait list is ranked by subfield. Generally, they pick people off the wait list if others in the subfield accept other offers. They said they typically know more around the last week of March after the admitted students visit.
And, no, they don't tell you where you rank.
