Hey, Yes you should wait. Sorry my bad it's UCSB, and since you have that you could hold onto that while you wait lol. It's really helpful to have one funded acceptance right? I'm very interested inclined towards theory, especially postcolonial and continental and hence but oh well. If nothing, there is USC and I'm invited for a visit too

Heyy! Yes, I was in touch with people there. I had a chance to have my paper read at the CUNY Comp Lit Conference this past November too. I suppose you could get in touch with the schools who have responded in general but not just to you. It's good to remind. Congrats though on your offer from UC Irvine right? I think that's a great school. I really wanted to apply but missed it.

I'm waiting to hear from Emory but don't feel too positive about it. I had been told that the people who get emails for interviews are most likely the ones who are shortlisted at CUNY. Quite a few are henceforth waitlisted too and this procedure goes on till March. However, I think it may work slightly differently for Fulbright candidates (as it generally does) so just wait it out 3zs. Goodluck!
