Hi thmndr, Schools will often take you without an interview, it just depends on the program. It also isn't over till it's over, ya know? If she hasn't received any interviews from a few, it does not necessarily mean no acceptance. I hope she gets notification soon, as waiting is very stressful. I think they really should create a support forum for 'partners of MFA applicants'- you guys need support too! I think her idea of not getting too wrapped up in the waiting game is smart, I'd try to stay calm for her

Alment, sorry there might be multiple responses here… i think i've got the hang of the response button now. i heard from VCU about wait list via email on 2/24. I think if you get in, you'll have till the deadline mid-April. They told me candidates have till April 15th to accept. That is awesome you are interviewing with RISD. It is an amazing school, I went there for undergrad painting and I had a great experience, feel free to ask me anything about RISD painting or Providence. I have been in the RISD grad painting studios and they are a nice size, with large windows. Do you by chance have any opinion of PAFA? (still waiting to hear from Tyler and UPenn). Has anyone else heard from NYAA? I was accepted, but with little scholarship and NYC costs it's looking grim. I also wonder how many people are accepted each year there for MFA painting? And any comparisons to PAFA? Thanks so much!

Hi, new here. I also just got accepted to PAFA! Was wondering if merit scholarships are for 1 yr or 2… pretty sure it's for one? Fishing for opinions. Need to just call the school! Thanks!
