  1. Fall2106

    Atlanta, GA

Hi guys, I am going to study PhD at GSU this Fall. I want to find a roommate to rent an apartment in Station Square Apartments, (http://rjamesproperties.com/properties/station-square-apartments/) or somewhere else (prefer near MARTA coz I dont have a car). If you have an available room and need a roommate, I am happy to join. I will go to Atlanta in August. I am female, 27 years old. I am not in a relationship. I am neither too out-going, nor too reserved , but prefer quiet for studying environment. Thus, I am looking for someone: - Female preferred, but everyone welcomed as long as you are a good buddy - Respect mutual atmosphere. Shouldnt host guest(s) overnight (occasionally is accepted), and plz, no sex in the house. - Willing to make the house home (because we live there for year-long) - No pets, no smoking!!! If you are interested in, send me a message and we may discuss further. Thanks for your attention.
  2. Hi, Thank you for your suggestion. I contacted the coordinator as you suggested, and they almost immediately sent me an email to schedule an interview. I aint sure abt funding opportunities at UIC, because my friend there said that Epi department rarely provided 50% appointment (20hrs TA/RA). But let's see what life is going to give us
  3. Anyone knows any idea about the opportunity of getting RA at Pitts? contacted several professors but dont have any response.
  4. Thanks for your info and congrats on your upcoming acceptance. I applied to Epi & Biostats. Rumors say that UIC often give their final decision so so late, applicants even need to call the coordinator to know their status (yea, at least for Epi applicants). I really want to know whats going on with their decision-making, so that I can plan to land on other university :D.
  5. "To check on the status of your PhD application you must call 617-496-6100 between 2 pm and 5 pm EST. All information on admissions status is handled through the GSAS Office of Admissions." --> a reply from a coordinator of a department. So in case you havent heard anything from Harvard, you can call to check your admission status. I, myself, however dont do it. I havent heard a peep from them, so I assume I am rejected and look for other opportunity out there.
