So, for fiction, the general advice is: be traditional. When it comes to poetry, I've seen some say that advice goes out the window. Agree or disagree?
Thanks guys for the support. I was living with my family over the past year which is why I couldn't apply for the income restricted waivers. Here' s to trying again…
I think I'm too conscious of my financial status to risk putting even one application on a credit card.
:-( I just really hate being in the red. I'll probably do one or two more this year, but I don't think I can swing more than five, honestly.
Rejected 3/3 and I'm done for this year It's kind of okay because I switched my focus and aesthetic dramatically over the past year but still... :/
Spending the money hurt! Granted, I didn't even take the GRE… Should I? I'm kind of strapped.
Is there even a point in applying to the same programs again? Seeing my rejection letters only flashes the amount of money I spent back at me. :-(
I'm also wondering if my previously published material had been factored into the decisions by the admissions committee… Maybe they saw something they didn't like.
Man, it just sucks.
Is Iowa all done already, by the way?
