Hi everybody... I am applying to ECE programs in some universities (7PhD 3MS). As of now, I have two rejects and one safe admit (U Minnesota TC). When I contacted UMN, I was told that aid decisions would be sent in first week of March. Can I influence the process in any way if I send mails to my potential advisors now? If so, do I mention about familiarity with recent work (through publications)?
