Who were your POI? And did you get into any of the other schools you applied to? I hope you're able to have some choices! When would you know about waitlists - I've got a couple but I'm not exactly sure how they work.

I broke down and called the Uconn grad psych department yesterday. The woman said she hasn't been given admission results yet, but that she "expects them soon." I also hear (through the grapevine) that a couple of the professors are a bit annoyed that the admissions haven't been sent out yet. To me that makes it sound like decisions are for the most part made already. Maybe there are a couple of professors holding it up?

Has anyone heard ANYTHING about where they are in their decision process? I know the deadline is months away, but it's weird to see lots of other uconn departments already making decisions (based on the results page). Anyone hear anything from their POI about status? It looks like their standard operating procedure is to notify by email - is this true? Should I turn from my mailbox to my inbox? sigh. I hate the waiting game. Thanks :-)

I know I know deadlines months away, but it seems like on the results section that many other grad departments there are notifying their applicants already. Anyone got any tidbits of info like from their POI or something? It looks like their SOP is to email - so I should look to my inbox and not my mailbox? AAACK.
