I am waiting for UMich, too. I had an interview before Christmas. They said me the decision will be made by mid Jan.

I have experienced "available fo recommendation" sign, too. I am an international, and applied to UWM ChemE. I think that.. the sign is just error or the meaning of "under review".

Thx!!!! I hope so!!!! Ah.. I had an interview from UMich. Dec. 22. They said me, they will make decision mid Jan. I am waiting on UPenn, Harvard, Caltech, Purdue, CMU, Cornell, TAMU, UT-austin, CUNY and, ChemE in Wisconsin Madison, BioMed in BCM. Hopefully we hear somthing happy this week! Good Day!
