Anyone else here considering U of Arizona? If so, what are your thoughts. I just got back from visiting and loved the faculty... it would just be a HUGE change of pace in lifestyle

I woke up this morning to the email from TC and also almost had an anxiety attack! I just want to know already Has anyone else NOT heard from Northwestern? I saw people posting today that more decisions are up, but I STILL have nothing

Oh wow! Sorry to hear that... I wonder why it took so long? I did hate how it basically took an extra 4 weeks for the application to go through, but almost 2 months for yours is ridiculous!

Did other people use the CSDCAS? What did you all think? At first I thought it was kind of a pain having a middle man, but now I am thinking that it helped me in the long run. They calculated like 10 different GPA's for me. My undergrad was in Business and my GPA was a 3.57 (Darn Accounting and Finance Courses ) But with the CSDCAS, they separated out my post-baccalaureate GPA, Comm Sci GPA, Behav. Sci, etc., which were all a lot higher. I'm just wondering b/c I find it interesting that I have been accepted to all the schools I applied to using the CSDCAS and was rejected from the two (one lower ranked) that I didn't use the CSDCAS for. Anyone experience a similar situation?

I'm going through the app process now and applied to 10 schools (hopefully I get into one). Like you, I read that a 1000-1150 was a safe score. I earned a 1310 on my GRE, a 3.57 undergrad in Business, have taken 7 courses in SLP undergrad work w/ GPA of 3.95. I have only heard back from one school and was rejected (a top 25 school). I don't know if this supports that GRE scores don't matter as much as other things, or if the field has just become SUPER competetive. I read at least one of my LOR and it was really good. I think I am an okay writer, but my SOP could have definitely been stronger. Who knows?!?!?! I wish I had more experiene in the field, which I probably will try to get if I don't get accepted anywhere.
