  1. Can anyone tell me if I should send a thank you note to the professors after visiting the university and the professors of the program I've been accepted and have decided to go. I was thinking of sending an email saying thanks for the time and sharing the useful info about the program and that I have accepted the offer to join their program.
  2. I would appreciate it if I could get some feedback on which public policy phd program is better from different aspects.
  3. My research interests are labor market, impact of globalization, poverty, etc.
  4. I got accepted for masters in IR at Yale with full tuition and stipend! Hard to believe cuz just yesterday I got rejection from UMich and Harvard and today I got accepted by both Yale and UChicago.
  5. I just got accepted to UChicago for PhD in public policy with full tuition and stipend. Phew.... I hope you all get some good news soon too.
  6. The previous posting as Guest was mine!
  7. I recently received the acceptance and since the financial aid is not guaranteed yet, I'm not too excited about it. Are you in for public affairs too? which other schools have you applied to?
  8. Tina, where did you see UMich policy/econ acceptance?
  9. Btw, the acceptance from IUB was for PhD in public affairs.
  10. Got a letter of acceptance from Indiana Univ. Bloomington today but no financial aid. It says I am on their list for additional consideration if their budget situation improves. It also says that they are willing to assist me in applying for external fellowships or scholarships and to let them know if they can provide a letter of support for me. I had applied there really late, almost after a month from the deadline. Would that be a reason why I didn't get aid? Any ideas as to whether or not there is any possibility of getting aid.
  11. Congratulations! That's a great admit!
  12. Has anyone heard from PhD in public policy yet?
