I haven't even heard back as to when my test will be. I'm afraid something went wrong because I emailed and filled out that form that went to the testing organization but never heard from them about a date.

I had the same problem regarding the OPI. I completed LTI's online form the same day my program received an email about registering for it. I requested to take the OPI on much earlier dates but I never received a confirmation email and both dates that I requested to take the OPI had passed so I called them Tuesday. The lady who I spoke with resent the confirmation to the email I registered with twice, but for whatever reason itnever came. I gave her a new e mail address, it finally sent to that one, and she rescheduled my OPI for a day this week.

Sorry to ask this, it's just that this uncertainty is quite stressful.

I don't know much about the process for alternate applicants, but I know for sure that notifications can run to as late as a few weeks before a program. I've read about a few cases when finalist had to decline last minute due to whatever situation and alternates were moved up with only a week or so to prepare for departure. But I think typically Alternates know by the end of April??

I would assume alternates could start receiving updates if they moved up as soon as people decline + and CLS refiles and what not. I don't think they send out notification in waves either, but rather individually as soon as a status changes.

Hi guys, I too have been following this forum since late November/Early December, and have finally decided to join in. Although you guys don't know me, I feel familiar with some of you lol. 

Anyway, waiting for the final notification (Korean program) to be sent out gets old so I hope this helps pass some time! This and the facebook applicant group are really good ways to de-stress, and I think this is the longest CLS forum on this site ( ngl I read the other ones also).

I really am hoping that we know the results by the end of this week. I've never called or email CLS regarding when they'll be released, so I am also relieved to hear(read) an update provided by the applicants in the online groups.

My post is kind of pointless, but it's nice to meet you all and I'm hoping for the best!
