I just called them and the admission guy told me 'end of march'. I think that will be the line till 11.59pm of 31st march.Anyway, I am joining Maxwell for sure (don;t know about "higher rankings" )

Nopes nothing.Oh, I just realised March has 31 days.So 24 hours more.:-)

All I got from WAgner are two mails saying I am not getting the Reynolds and B (something) scholarship that I applied for. I wish they also mailed whether I am in or out. Deciding between Michigan and Maxwell,but in all probabilities it will be Maxwell.

I am in the same position. 5 years work ex. Left my job a year back to travel. And would you believe it-it is MPA in Maxwell for me. While waiting for the funding decision, I am freelancing as a travel writer and other features for a few newspaper/websites. But tell me where did you hear good things about maxwell. As an international student, my biggest worry right now is employment opportunities after my degree.

Wait Listed.But doesn't look like its happening for me because it clearly says that those wait listed will not be given funds. So Syracuse it is for me..I guess.

Hi I got an admit to the 1 year MPA program in Maxwell ,Syracuse.I am a 29 year old applicant from India.I have not yet got any funding. I want to know if it is worth it to take a loan for the program.I have 5 years of work ex in the finance sector (Investment Bank). My biggest worry, as an international student, is the employment opportunity post my degree.Wanted to know if there are any current students of Maxwell on this forum who can give me info on this.Is it true that international students have a tough time getting jobs, more so since there is no placement cell.Its all through your networking skills? What about the other schools? If I take a loan and then donot get a job, then I will be..well..in a soup.. Anybody else with the same situation as mine? Misery loves company. I am waiting to hear from WAgner, Columbia,Michigan ..

Hi I got admission to the MPA program in Maxwell (2010). But I will know about funding only by march 15. According to US News rankings it is ranked pretty high, but I want to know how reliable are the rankings.If i don't get any funding is it worth taking a loan for the 1 year program? I am an Indian ,29 years and after 4 years of work ex, would rather go for a one year program Thanks for any info/suggestions
