I still haven't receive any notification from the University of Alberta (Health Promotion, distance ). I emailed again and Shona said that my file is still being reviewed by the admissions committee. Is this just a polite way of telling me that my rejection is on it's way? It seems quite late for an acceptance and there was no mention of a waitlist or anything? Is it just false hope at this point or is there any chance I could still be accepted? Anyone else still waiting?

Did you apply for the distance program as well? Did they set you up with an UofA email and Bear Tracks?

Weird, I'm from Halifax too. Have you tried calling or anything? I've sent 2 emails and left a voice mail, but no response.

I'm still waiting too! The deadline on the website said that the admission decisions would be sent out today, April 15 :/

This waiting game is killing me.....

If I haven't heard anything back from UofA, do you think that means I have been rejected? I just wish they would tell me one way or another...

I applied through SOPHAS as well, so perhaps it will be my home email then...the waiting is awful :/

Hi I applied to University of Alberta for the MPH (Health Promotion concentration) for Fall 2016 and the only correspondence I have received so far is on Bear Tracks. It has nothing listed for my status, but it says my application requires action. When I click the To Do list, it simply says Apply Grad Requirement List, a due date of April 5 2016 and Status Initiated. Does anyone know what this means? Does anyone else have this? Thanks for your help and good luck with your studies! Brenda
