Hey guys, I'm headed to CUNY in the fall, and I'm trying to get a head start on my roommate search (since living alone will definitely not be financially feasible!). I'm not sure whether or not it's a terrible idea to live with a fellow philosophy student, but I figured I might as well try it out. Anyone in the NYC area would be great! Not necessarily just CUNY, but also Columbia, NYU, Fordham, etc... even NJ, if you're still looking to live in the city. I'd prefer just one roommate for a two-bedroom, but I'd be willing to go up to two roommates for a three-bedroom. Not too committed to any particular location, but ideally an easy commute to midtown (so... basically anywhere). Some neighborhoods that have caught my eye are: Ditmas Park, LIC/Astoria, Washington Heights (again, not an exhaustive list). Basics/possible dealbreakers: female, 20-something, non-smoker (except when I'm drunk), allergic to cats, and (not that this necessarily matters in a roommate search) my philosophical interests are in ethics, epistemology, feminism, race, and aesthetics Thanks!
