Waiting does terrible things to oneself. I've about given up hope for MSFS, but no letter yet... Good luck to everyone who is still holding on to a small candle of hope...

Hi All, I was admitted both into GPPI and HKS. However, I received no funding for GPPI and am not too sure about my funding prospects at HKS. I am looking to do social policy with an international focus (i.e. US immigration policy, education for immigrant minorities etc.). A big draw of Georgetown was their joint MPP/MSFS but since my MSFS decision is 99% likely a no (I have yet to be notified), I am wondering which program would offer me the greatest chances at both studying what I want and connecting me to the key people in that in-between area of domestic and international policy? Any and all thoughts are extremely appreciated.

Thank you for your replies. I also called the admissions office today and they informed me of the same thing, so hopefully I'll see a hard copy of the letter this week... Another question, do you guys know if assistanceship/fellowships come with the admissions packet or are you notified about them in the scholarship round?

Has anyone received a physical letter of admissions yet? I was admitted on the 23rd of February and have yet to actually see a letter of admissions. I am getting worried because their deadline to reply is April 15th and I am seriously considering another program. Any and all insight would be appreciated :-)

Just got my decision. Accepted! I think I got into probably due to the fact that I started a local nonprofit organization based upon some research I did concerning Latino political participation. I have OK GRE scores (610 V, 630 Q) and some government internships and involvement with school govt. But probably it was the nonprofit that got me in.

Have any applicants to the MSFS/MPP dual program heard yet? I am in GPPI, but have yet to hear a peep from the MSFS folks.

Same with me. I received a notification to apply for their scholarship offer today. It seems as if for me at least they notified me twice of my admissions and then sent me the notification to apply for scholarships one week following the second admissions notification. It was in the second admissions notification that I received information concerning their open house. The one thing that comes to mind is that maybe their system had a glitch and some of the admitted people received the first (much shorter) e-mail concerning admissions and others received the second one, and others (like myself) received both.

I received my admissions e-mail two weeks ago and no subsequent e-mail concerning scholarships. So I e-mailed their admissions office about a week ago concerning notification for scholarships and have not heard back. I am really not sure about my chances of receiving a future scholarship For those of you who have heard back concerning scholarships, did GPPI e-mail you first telling you to apply and then sent you your decisions?

I received my notification via e-mail. They also said about a week ago that I should receive a letter "in ten days"...here's to hoping

Hi All, I have been recently admitted to GPPI but I am confused as to which program. I applied to their MPP/MSFS dual degree program but GPPI website said I need to be admitted into both programs separately. Since I only received an admissions e-mail from GPPI I am not sure if I in fact made it into their dual degree program. Is there anyone else on the same boat? Does this mean I have made it to the MPP while the MSFS decision is still pending? Any and all thoughts are extremely appreciated

I am wondering how everyone is hearing back with financial aid offers. I was offered admission on February 23rd and have yet to hear anything about financial aid. Do they send out that information in batches?
