I'm not sure if you're looking to stay in North Carolina, but if you're open to moving, New Orleans has 4 different universities that offer Counseling degrees. UNO offers a MEd in counseling and I believe you can choose a focus of either school or clinical mental health counseling with their program; I did my undergrad there and had a great experience with them. Loyola and Our Lady of Holy Cross both offer an MA/MS in counseling, but I'm don't know too much about either program. LSU Health Sciences Center offers a MHS in Clinical Rehabilitation & Counseling and has an RSA grant if you are looking for a program with a scholarship/funding- this program was the best fit for me and I am starting in the fall. LSU's program also extended the deadline for applications this year, so they are still accepting applications for this fall. I think the fall deadlines for all of the other programs have passed. I'm sending you links to all of the schools in case you're interested. Good luck!
