Hi everyone! I am glad to see that people's admittances are coming in and you are making the right decisions for you. So looks like I got into Columbia, Fordham, and NYU, and after exploring my options, both program wise and financially, it looks like I will be attending NYU this fall. The concentration on clinical training, the research opportunities, and the faculty interests line up with my wants, and they gave me a substantial scholarship. Congrats to all those accepted! I just found out I am accepted at Columbia for their 2 year msw! Very exciting, although they have not given my a financial aid package which may be a determining factor. Still waiting on NYU and especially HUNTER! Had my interview last tuesday and still haven't heard. Anyone know about Hunter's program? its so much cheaper!!

Just found out yesterday I got in. Very exciting buy after reading this page it looks like the price tag is pretty much set at 33k. Had my hunter interview and hopeful acceptance. Anybody have any information about hunter's program? Besides that it's almost 75 percent cheaper! Any thoughts will be much appreciated. Good luck on funding!!

To all those still waiting it out. So i'm still waiting for my five new York school decisions to come in. Columbia- still haven't heard although I made the January 15th deadline. Called the admissions office and said decisions are still going out. Nyu- got an email apologizing for the wait and the high number of applicants. Hunter- requested an interview. Stonybrook and fordham are still way in the distance. To all those in waiting with me in solidarity good luck!!!!!

Hey everyone. Hope everyone is doing well. I am still waiting on fall 2010 decisions from my various new york schools, but I found out today that I have interview at HUNTER! Does anyone else have any information on what the process is like? Anyone else scheduled as well? Hope all is well and good luck on decisions decisions. -M

Congrats to everyone who has gotten their acceptance! I am still waiting on Columbia's decision. Although I submitted my application on January 15th my profile says that it was actually completed on feb 2nd. To those in waiting that may be the issue in not recieivng notification. Apparently after talking to the admissions office decisions are always posted at the end of the week . So if we don't hear today it's next week!!! On another note has anyone received interviews from hunters program? Patiently waiting -M

HI! I have no heard anything from anyone. Although I did receive a response email from Columbia admissions saying that decisions will be emailed starting tomorrow and Friday. Geez this waiting is rough. Let me know when you hear something and good luck!

Hi everyone, This is my first post, and after reading all your replies for the past 2 weeks I have finally decided to join! I am waiting up my fall 2010 MSW acceptances/rejections. I have applied to Columbia, NYU, Hunter, Fordham, and StonyBrook. Has anyone heard from Columbia yet? Last time I spoke to admissions they said they were going to notify everyone by March 1st. I am stressing! if anyone has heard from any schools let me know . Good lucK!
