I am debating between the Evans School and LBJ. Both have highly ranked programs and are located in awesome cities. My only concern with the Evans School is that only 9% of students end up in DC, and they are on the quarter system. I am going to visit Evans this week and am really excited to see what it is like.
I've noticed a lot of people have applied to both MPA and MPP programs. I have been accepted to both. I am leaning towards MPP, but are other people basing their decisions on the strength of the program rather than on the different degrees? Do these two degrees result in similar careers?
I am also interested to know what people do over the summer. I probably am going to go to LBJ and am really excited about living in Austin, but I would like to do a summer internship in DC.
I applied to GW, LBJ, and Evans. I got into GW, but am anxiously waiting on the others! I would like to visit LBJ, but I'm worried that it will be such short notice between an acceptance and an open house I won't be able to.
